About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop APIs, events, and integrations for the modernization program’s cross-functional components using Node.js and/or .NET
- Apply DDD, microservices, and event-driven architecture patterns with Apache Kafka
- Serve as the primary executor of the Agentic SDLC, applying SDD to guide AI agents
- Ensure engineering governance and the quality of AI-generated code through code reviews and guardrails
- Explore, structure, and advance the use of Claude Code, Skills, and MCPs within the project
- Implement and maintain unit and integration tests
- Contribute to quality pipeline automation
- Collaborate with the Solutions Architect on technical decisions and user story refinement
- Support the technical analysis of legacy systems with the assistance of AI to identify critical business rules
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong backend development experience with .NET, including RESTful API design and asynchronous event-based communication
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or equivalent messaging and event-streaming systems
- Experience with microservices architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and observability practices
- Hands-on experience applying AI to software engineering, including SDD, context engineering, prompt orchestration, and agent-based development
- Proficiency with Claude Code, MCPs, and AI-assisted development tools
- Preferred: frontend development experience in microfrontend and module federation environments
- Preferred: knowledge of API gateways, unified authentication, and multi-product platform design
- Preferred: familiarity with AI context architectures, RAG, local knowledge bases, and specification files such as agents.md
- Preferred: experience in legacy platform modernization programs spanning multiple domains
- Preferred: knowledge of the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry
