About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define the solution’s testing strategy
Develop and automate functional tests
Automate API testing
Implement contract and integration tests
Structure end-to-end tests
Validate duplicate, retry, and reprocessing scenarios
Test behavior under partial failure conditions
Validate data consistency between SQL Server and Cosmos DB
Plan and execute benchmarks
Perform load, stress, and performance testing
Measure latency, throughput, and solution behavior during peak loads
Analyze RU/s consumption and Cosmos DB behavior
Assess concurrency and resilience scenarios
Create objective evidence of executed tests
Support Architecture and Engineering in defining acceptance and performance criteria

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience in QA Automation
Experience automating API tests
Experience with integration and end-to-end testing
Experience with performance and load testing
Knowledge of tools such as k6, JMeter, or Azure Load Testing
Knowledge of testing .NET applications and APIs
Experience with concurrency and resilience testing
Ability to analyze application and infrastructure metrics
Experience with data validation and comparison
Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus
Knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB and SQL Server is a plus
Experience with Azure Monitor and Application Insights is a plus
Experience with distributed systems and high-volume applications is a plus
Knowledge of contract testing is a plus
Experience with retries, idempotency, asynchronous processing, and reprocessing is a plus
Strong critical-thinking skills
Rigor in validation and evidence generation
Investigative mindset
Ability to identify risks before production deployment
Clear communication of findings
Ability to prioritize testing based on risk and impact
Strong collaboration skills with Engineering, Architecture, and SRE
