Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support a healthcare insurance technology initiative for customer applications involving underwriting, enrollment, eligibility, and policy-related workflows
  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create testing strategies
  • Create, maintain, and run functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases
  • Test application behavior across UI, API, data, and system integration layers
  • Design test scenarios for complex workflows and data exchanges
  • Identify, document, track, and verify bugs with developers and stakeholders
  • Support API testing, data validation, and integration testing across connected enterprise systems
  • Learn and use the team’s AI-driven test suite in daily testing
  • Use AI-assisted testing practices to improve test design, coverage, and defect analysis
  • Set up and maintain automated regression testing in CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with developers and senior engineering leaders throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Document test results, bugs, risks, and quality status
  • Establish reliable test coverage for critical workflows and integrations
  • Identify defects and risks early
  • Improve regression testing efficiency and consistency
  • Provide visibility into application quality and release readiness
  • Deliver stable, high-quality software with developers and senior engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Professional experience in software QA or quality engineering, preferably at a senior level
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong experience in test planning, test case design, execution, and bug management
  • Experience testing web applications, REST APIs, and system integrations
  • Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methods
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and automated regression suites
  • Experience validating data and working with SQL or relational databases
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, Git (version control), and CI/CD concepts
  • Practical experience using AI tools responsibly in QA activities
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience with AI-driven testing tools or AI-assisted test generation
  • Experience validating complex, data-intensive enterprise applications
  • Exposure to Salesforce, MuleSoft, IBM enterprise systems, or similar integration platforms
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, enrollment, eligibility, or policy administration
  • Experience with automated testing in CI/CD pipelines and continuous quality practices
