About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and maintain the critical infrastructure supporting the operation of AI agents on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Ensure 99.95% availability and stringent response-time requirements
Provision OCI resources using Terraform, ensuring robust and auditable infrastructure as code
Manage OKE clusters with GPU node pools for inference, ensuring performance and availability
Configure autoscaling (HPA) based on AI agent latency and workload
Ensure network security in private VCNs, including the configuration of NSGs and Service Gateways
Manage secrets in OCI Vault, maintaining compliance and credential protection
Proactively monitor the platform through OCI Observability (Monitoring, Logging, and APM)
Support FinOps initiatives to control and optimize GPU and generative AI token costs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Knowledge of Kubernetes (OKE) and GPU node pools
Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code
Knowledge of networking concepts, including VCNs, NSGs, and Service Gateways
Experience with observability tools (OCI Monitoring/APM)
Preferred: experience with FinOps for generative AI
Preferred: knowledge of service mesh technologies (internal mTLS)
Preferred: familiarity with OCI Streaming (Kafka API)
Preferred: experience managing GPU runtimes (vLLM/Triton)
Preferred: knowledge of SRE practices and SLO definition
