About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Configure and evolve Azure platform components
  • Configure Azure API Management (APIM), including APIs, policies, products, operations, diagnostics, and versioning
  • Support the operation of workloads running on AKS
  • Automate infrastructure and environment-specific configurations
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement identity, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
  • Work with Managed Identity, Entra ID, and Key Vault
  • Support private connectivity, networking, and security requirements
  • Establish observability using metrics, logs, and tracing
  • Create dashboards, alerts, and diagnostic mechanisms
  • Define and monitor SLOs and reliability indicators
  • Create operational runbooks
  • Support troubleshooting and incident management
  • Collaborate with cloud, security, architecture, and development teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Experience with Kubernetes/AKS
  • Infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or Bicep
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of Entra ID
  • Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC
  • Experience with Managed Identity and Key Vault
  • Knowledge of networking and private connectivity in Azure
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
  • Experience with observability, alerting, and troubleshooting distributed applications
  • Knowledge of SRE practices and incident management
  • Nice to have: experience with landing zones and the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Nice to have: experience with large-scale enterprise environments
  • Nice to have: knowledge of API security
