About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Guide the engineering team and drive the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of complex back-end software solutions
Define and evolve technical direction, architecture, and design patterns for back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server
Oversee implementation, evolution, and standardization of SOAP and REST APIs
Establish standards for unit and integration testing, monitoring, and root-cause analysis
Lead code reviews and mentor senior and junior engineers
Foster engineering excellence and continuous learning
Oversee integration of legacy and modern systems
Drive optimization of CI/CD workflows and automated pipelines
Partner with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-border teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical roadmaps

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced/Fluent English proficiency
Experience acting as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Principal Engineer in a production environment
Deep, hands-on experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
Solid understanding of ADO.NET and SQL Server
Proven track record in database design, optimization, and performance tuning at scale
Strong experience designing and maintaining SOAP and RESTful web services
Proficiency in XML serialization/deserialization
Mastery of software design patterns, clean architecture, and modern distributed system design
Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills
Resilience in fast-paced, multicultural environments
Cloud platform expertise, preferably Azure
Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development
Experience leading teams within Agile/Scrum development methodologies
