About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership for the squad, guiding architecture, design, and solution implementation decisions
- Define and evolve solutions using microservices, REST APIs, BFF, API Gateway, and event-driven architectures
- Orchestrate, configure, and evolve AI agents across the specification, development, testing, and deployment stages
- Transform requirements, standards, and architectural decisions into context, instructions, and guardrails for AI agents
- Create and evolve technical prompts for generating code, tests, specifications, and documentation
- Review and validate code and artifacts produced by developers and AI agents
- Ensure solution quality, security, and architectural compliance
- Identify risks, technical debt, and opportunities for improvement, contributing to their prioritization
- Document technical decisions, diagrams, and architectural standards clearly and in a reusable manner
- Mentor the team and promote software development and Agentic SDLC best practices
- Operate strategically within the financial services sector, connecting architecture and execution in an Agentic SDLC environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in software development and architecture, with experience in technical leadership
- Strong knowledge of Java, microservices, REST APIs, BFF, API Gateway, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with AWS and developing distributed applications in the Cloud
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and software development best practices
- Practical experience with Generative AI and LLMs applied to software development
- Experience with AI agents and AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, CI&T Flow, or similar tools
- Experience with Prompt Engineering applied to software specification, development, testing, and documentation
- Ability to configure context, instructions, and guardrails for using AI agents
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, considering architecture, security, performance, and quality
- Experience with code reviews, defining technical standards, and mentoring software developers
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions and interact with different stakeholders
- Technical English proficiency for documentation and interaction with AI tools and agents
- Preferred: experience orchestrating multiple agents and Agentic AI workflows
- Preferred: knowledge of MCP, context engineering, or agent-to-tool integration patterns
- Preferred: experience in the financial services sector, especially with transaction processing systems, payments, or merchant acquiring
- Preferred: experience modernizing legacy systems and migrating them to the Cloud
- Preferred: knowledge of application security, DevSecOps, SAST, and DAST
- Preferred: experience with transaction integrations and mission-critical APIs
