About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and modernize payment journeys in a SuperApp
  • Integrate new flows into the architecture through BFFs
  • Serve as the technical reference for Android
  • Orchestrate AI agents throughout the SDLC
  • Provide technical leadership for the development and modernization of payment journeys in Android applications
  • Develop and evolve flows, interfaces, and business rules using Kotlin and the Android ecosystem
  • Orchestrate AI agents to support code generation, testing, analysis, and solution evolution
  • Review, validate, and refactor code produced with AI assistance
  • Implement integrations with APIs and BFFs, considering caching, asynchronous calls, error handling, and resilience
  • Define and promote best practices for Android architecture, quality, performance, and secure development
  • Use AI agents to create and enhance unit and instrumentation tests
  • Mentor developers and serve as a reference for the squad’s technical decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in Android development using Kotlin and the Android SDK
  • Proficiency in Jetpack Compose and/or XML-based UI development
  • Experience with MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture
  • Knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, Retrofit, and REST APIs
  • Experience with dependency injection using Hilt or Dagger
  • Experience with testing using JUnit, MockK, Espresso, or Compose Test
  • Experience in technical leadership, solution design, code review, and mentoring
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI and AI agents applied to software development
  • Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, CI&T Flow, or similar solutions
  • Ability to critically review AI-generated output with regard to architecture, security, performance, and quality
  • Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and agent orchestration applied to the SDLC
  • Experience with Agentic SDLC and the use of specialized agents across different stages of development
  • Experience with financial applications, payments, or transactional journeys
  • Knowledge of security applied to mobile applications
  • Experience with BFFs and legacy application modernization
  • Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and Android application performance
