About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Business Banking clients and internal partners with account maintenance, day-to-day service inquiries, and administrative activities
  • Understand client business requests and needs, execute solutions, and provide relevant recommendations
  • Validate Digital Business Onboarding applications for Business Banking, Personal Banking, and Imperial Service segments
  • Interact with clients and internal partners by phone, email, and video conferencing
  • Coordinate changes to account information, signing authorities, and existing Cash Management products
  • Record servicing activities accurately in appropriate tools
  • Offer solutions, resolve or escalate client issues and concerns
  • Support non-sales calling campaigns, client call-outs, initiatives, projects, and AML remediations
  • Capture and validate clients’ financial information and documentation in accordance with CIBC policies and procedures
  • Conduct due diligence before credit recommendations and product sales
  • Identify sales opportunities and refer them to Business Advisors or appropriate internal partners
  • Promote digital banking options, including ATM, Mobile, and SmartBanking for Business
  • Work with internal partners to proactively meet client needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a professional, fast-paced sales and service environment, preferably in a financial and client service industry or Client Contact Centre
  • Well-developed knowledge of business products and services, including lending, cash management solutions, GICs and banking centre services
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Ability to work independently from home with a secure, closed-door workspace
  • Wired internet connection with minimum download speed of 15 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps
  • Satellite internet providers are prohibited
  • Ability to work flexible rotating hours Monday to Saturday to accommodate client and branch schedules
  • Ability to attend the primary work location within two hours’ notice for business-related purposes
  • Legally eligible to work at the specified location; valid work or study permit where applicable
  • May be required to complete attribute-based assessments, skills tests, simulations, coding, or French proficiency testing
