About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the loan syndication origination and amendment process from start to finish
  • Support the Middle Market Commercial & Industrial Lending business
  • Ensure underwriting accuracy and efficient execution of multi-bank transactions
  • Prepare bank books, Confidential Information Memorandums, teasers, and other marketing materials
  • Distribute and communicate transaction information to co-lenders
  • Arrange and participate in bank meetings with co-lenders, including occasional travel
  • Collaborate with Agency Services to execute syndication closings
  • Review underwriting and legal documentation
  • Manage existing agented transactions
  • Lead amendments for previously closed syndications
  • Produce reports for internal use, external data sharing, senior management, and auditors
  • Monitor and communicate market and industry trends
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to broader team infrastructure initiatives and internal reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid background in C&I credit, syndicated bank transactions, and debt capital markets
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to critically review complex underwriting and legal documentation
  • Ability to manage multi-bank transactions and structured workflows
  • Up-to-date knowledge of market trends and industry dynamics related to credit and syndicated bank transactions
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Relationship-building skills with clients, partners, and colleagues
  • Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location(s)
  • This position does not offer visa sponsorship
