About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess workplace concerns and determine appropriate resolution approaches
  • Facilitate early intervention, conciliation, informal resolution, and formal investigations
  • Conduct timely, thorough, and impartial investigations into discrimination, harassment, violence, and other inappropriate workplace conduct
  • Gather, assess, and synthesize interview, document, and correspondence evidence
  • Identify legal, regulatory, employee relations, reputational, and operational risks
  • Provide practical recommendations to support compliance and reduce future risk
  • Advise Human Resources, Employee Relations, business leaders, Legal, Corporate Security, and other stakeholders
  • Prepare allegations, interview plans, case summaries, investigation reports, and outcome recommendations
  • Maintain documentation, reporting, and file management for governance, audit readiness, metrics, and trend analysis
  • Identify systemic themes and recommend proactive solutions
  • Contribute to improving workplace resolution practices, tools, templates, and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in workplace conflict resolution, conciliation, and workplace investigations
  • Experience with discrimination, harassment, violence, human rights matters, attendance and disability management, performance management, discipline, and terminations
  • Experience managing complex or high-risk workplace matters in a large, regulated organization is an asset
  • Critical thinking skills to assess risk, establish facts, and support balanced, defensible outcomes
  • Initiative, sound judgment, professionalism, and accountability when managing sensitive matters
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across stakeholder groups
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, leaders, former employees, and legal counsel, including in emotionally charged situations
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s)
  • Valid work or study permit where applicable
