About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain Power BI datasets, data models, and dashboards
Understand and explain data flows from source systems through Azure Data Factory into Fabric and Power BI
Diagnose data issues independently
Partner with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Own data accuracy and quality for reporting outputs
Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues
Document data models, datasets, and reporting logic
Use AI tools to draft queries, DAX/Power Query logic, and documentation, while validating correctness
Identify and build AI-powered automation for manual reporting workflows
Expand self-service analytics
Grow into Cin7's broader Customer Operations systems, including ChurnZero, Salesforce, and ZenDesk, with training provided as needed
Maintain baseline ChurnZero configuration as part of the Customer Operations function

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (information systems, computer science, business analytics, or similar), or demonstrated equivalent experience with a track record in BI-specific roles
2–3 years of hands-on Power BI experience building datasets and data models, including relationships, DAX measures, and Power Query
Working knowledge of SQL, including reading and validating data and understanding joins, keys, and grain
Ability to explain what data means and where it comes from
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into daily BI workflows, validate AI output independently, and identify appropriate automation opportunities
Direct exposure to Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory is a nice-to-have
Experience owning a BI dataset/model end-to-end is a nice-to-have
