About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to define requirements and deliver software solutions
Maintain, design, and develop high-performance code for cloud-based SaaS inventory management software using .NET technologies
Contribute across application, database, and frontend layers
Implement API-driven features and write and optimize SQL queries
Work with stored procedures, triggers, and database performance
Make UI updates, adjust page layouts, work with forms, and apply HTML, CSS, and JavaScript styling
Use AI coding assistants and agentic tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, test writing, and code review
Design and implement AI/LLM-powered product capabilities, including LLM API integrations, retrieval or agentic workflows, and model-output evaluation
Own complex features and modules end-to-end, providing technical leadership and architectural direction
Review human- and AI-generated code for quality, maintainability, performance, and coding standards
Resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, scalability concerns, and technical challenges
Drive unit and integration testing, including AI-assisted test coverage
Evaluate and integrate emerging tools, frameworks, and AI-driven practices
Mentor and coach developers on engineering practices and responsible AI-tool usage

Requirements

What you’ll need

Reside in Ahmedabad or Pune, India
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with deep specialization in .NET technologies and senior/technical leadership on production systems
Demonstrated hands-on fluency with AI coding tools and agentic development workflows, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor
Practical experience using AI-powered coding assistants in everyday software development
Expertise integrating LLM APIs into an existing application
Experience designing and implementing production-grade AI-powered functionality involving RAG, agentic workflows, and model output evaluation
Strong analytical skills across backend, frontend, database, and application layers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET technologies, including .NET Framework, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, web applications, and APIs
Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns
Extensive experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and performance troubleshooting
Solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, request/response lifecycle, browser behavior, and client-server communication
Working knowledge of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation, event handling, form validation, asynchronous calls, and API responses
Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
Ability and willingness to work with existing frontend code
Strong understanding of unit and integration testing principles
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Experience working in agile development environments
Nice-to-have: LLM/AI APIs, cloud-based SaaS products/Microsoft Azure, performance/scalability/reliability, automated testing, CI/CD, secure coding, and mentoring engineers
