About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the cleaning and scrubbing of survey data
- Identify and remove duplicate, fraudulent, or low-quality responses
- Review client requirements and quality thresholds
- Advise on data validation, quota management, and respondent quality control best practices
- Conduct QA checks for straight-lining, speeding, and other fraud patterns
- Ensure data structures are clean, properly formatted, and privacy-compliant
- Prepare data for delivery in SPSS, Excel, CSV, and similar formats
- Scrub or anonymize personally identifiable information in line with regulations such as GDPR
- Diagnose and resolve data quality issues
- Flag anomalies or respondent flow bottlenecks during live fieldwork
- Collaborate with Project Managers and client-side researchers
- Provide updates on data delivery timelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of hands-on full service project management or survey programming experience within a market research, panel, or data collection environment
- Advanced proficiency in major survey programming platforms such as Decipher, Qualtrics, Alchemer, or similar ResTech tools
- Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Python or XML is a strong plus
- Exceptional analytical and QA skills
- Track record of delivering clean, error-free survey logic and data files
- Strong experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external clients
- Experience managing expectations, resolving technical queries, and ensuring timely delivery
