About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the warehouse, transforms, orchestration, and serving layer, including dashboards, reverse ETL, and agents
  • Build reliable pipelines from product events, CRM, marketing, finance, support, and other sources
  • Implement contracts, retries, visibility, tested models, metrics, quality tests, anomaly detection, lineage, SLAs, and incident processes
  • Partner with Engineering on events, tracking plans, data contracts, access governance, PII, and documentation
  • Build and own the quality and adoption of the agent layer, including health monitoring, failed-job summaries, cost and performance flags, draft models/tests/docs, schema-change alerts, health reports, and suggested fixes
  • Run platform reviews, retrospectives, SLA reporting, and prioritization with Product, Analytics, and go-to-market teams
  • Ensure clear ownership, tests, documentation, and rollback for major data products
  • Deliver end-to-end as an individual contributor with no direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of hands-on production pipelines and warehouse models experience
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with cloud warehouses and dbt-style transforms
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar
  • Python for automation
  • Design for observability, testing, incidents, and cost
  • Systems-thinking approach
  • Ability to partner across functions
  • Willingness to document and automate rather than manage people
