About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and test data pipelines that ingest, transform, and curate data within Cambridge’s cloud data platform
  • Build and maintain API integrations and ETL/ELT workflows with guidance from data architects and engineers
  • Support data quality and data governance processes
  • Collaborate with data architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions
  • Document data solutions
  • Contribute to enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives
  • Use SQL, Python, Snowflake, Azure, Event Hubs, Kafka, dbt, Git, Azure DevOps, Confluence, CI/CD, and database change management tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with or coursework in Python, SQL, cloud technology, or data engineering concepts
  • Interest in developing data pipelines, APIs, ETL/ELT workflows, and cloud-based data solutions
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality principles
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in an enterprise data environment
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
  • Unable to accommodate temporary student work authorizations, including initial CPT and OPT
