About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure, operate, and manage Azure security services such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault
- Partner with IT and Information Security teams on Azure-specific initiatives to ensure secure and scalable cloud deployments
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities within Azure environments
- Monitor Azure threat management systems to detect and assess potential security incidents or breaches
- Investigate, analyze, and escalate security incidents related to Azure environments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for swift incident resolution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (or similar Azure-focused certifications)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, security operations, or a related cybersecurity role
- Practical experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure Key Vault
- Working knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL), SIEM workflows, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
