About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide adult-only primary care through telemedicine
- Manage an empaneled panel of primary care patients
- Conduct two-way video-audio appointments lasting 15 to 30 minutes
- Deliver continuity of care and follow-up for patients
- Set recurring schedules across a 7-day-a-week operation, including evenings and weekends
- Work with patient care advocates and the licensed medical team
- Utilize the proprietary HIPAA-compliant EHR and other software
- Diagnose and treat a variety of adult/primary care conditions
- See patients in person once a year
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed an accredited nursing or medical program with a national certification
- Currently licensed in at least one of: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, GA, IA, IL, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, or WA
- Ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- Valid DEA Registration in good standing with all schedules to prescribe medications, including S2
- At least 2 years post-residency practice experience strongly preferred
- Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine
- Willingness to learn to diagnose and treat adult/primary care conditions
- Able to see patients in-person once a year
- PC with Windows 11 Pro or a Mac newer than 2021 required
- Applicants must reside in the United States
