Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end accounting for revenue and partnership arrangements
Ensure accurate recognition, timely close, and complete disclosures across customer and partner incentives
Maintain and improve internal controls and reporting
Partner with commercial, legal, tax, and data teams to define accounting and control requirements
Support audits
Own month-end and quarter-end close for revenue and partnerships, including subledger reviews, exceptions, journals and reconciliations
Analyze balance sheet and P&L movements, investigate anomalies, and produce evidence-based commentary on key drivers
Develop understanding of commercial economics, contract terms and data flows to ensure transactions are complete and accurately reflected
Review customer and partner arrangements and apply ASC 606 and US GAAP to incentives, revenue sharing and non-standard terms
Design and implement AI-driven automation and process improvements using tools like ChatGPT and Gemini while preserving human oversight and auditability

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience
Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606, with hands-on experience in revenue recognition, partner incentives, variable consideration and balance sheet reconciliations
Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development
Experience with ERP systems and transaction subledgers (Oracle or similar) and month/quarter close activities
Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite
