About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical strategy and solution architecture for Payments and Enterprises opportunities with Business Development
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify client requirements, regulatory considerations, and integration constraints
- Design and present scalable solution architectures, including APIs, transaction flows, custody models, and settlement processes
- Develop proof-of-concepts, implementation plans, and technical validation frameworks
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify product gaps, influence prioritisation, and improve integration experiences
- Support post-sale implementations with Partnership Management
- Represent Circle at industry events, technical workshops, and client engagements
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and global Solutions Engineering initiatives
- Create and maintain an internal knowledge repository for existing and forthcoming products
- Support the Global Solutions Engineering team with internal projects
- Provide market and technical feedback to inform product strategy and roadmap prioritisation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience in roles such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Product Manager
- Preferably experience in Payments, FinTech, B2B SaaS, Web3, or blockchain infrastructure
- Ability to translate complexity into simplicity
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Client-centric approach and dependable partnership with sales, client success, and product/technology teams
- History of designing and validating technical solutions, especially for large enterprises
- Hands-on experience with API testing, database querying, and sketching technical flows
- Proven experience working alongside developers on SaaS product integration and development
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Preferred: prior team management experience
- Preferred: experience with blockchain infrastructure, stablecoins, tokenized assets, or digital custody solutions
- Preferred: familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to the EMEA Payments industry
- Expected availability for regular travel up to 25% across the EMEA region
