About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Market the CIVIL product range across the Northwest region
- Prospect for and qualify the needs of new customers and partners
- Conduct product demonstrations of the CIVIL range alongside Pre-Sales Engineers
- Prepare responses to requests for proposals and related documentation with the Technical and Pre-Sales Engineering teams
- Negotiate contracts and proposals with prospects
- Organize demonstrations, site visits, trials, and proofs of concept
- Participate in national sales initiatives, including trade shows, events, and marketing activities
- Lead sales activities in the Northwest region by coordinating the relevant teams
- Monitor the progress and development of projects with existing customers
- Record activities in the company’s CRM system
- Continuously recommend adaptations to the offering based on evolving customer needs and usage patterns
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Customer Services on presentations and the follow-up of sold projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in a similar role or as a Pre-Sales Engineer
- Ideally, experience gained within a software publisher serving local and regional government authorities
- Strong understanding of the local and regional government environment
- Good knowledge of sales techniques, including cost, profitability, and deadline management
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the country, with a stronger presence required in the Northwest region
- Field-based position
- Use of AI tools in compliance with Ciril GROUP’s regulatory framework
