About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work across the entire data value chain: ingestion, transformation, modeling, exposure, and visualization
Contribute to defining and evolving the data architecture, particularly data warehouses and data lakes
Participate in selecting ETL/ELT, storage, and orchestration technologies and tools
Define data models suited to analytical requirements
Design and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines
Automate data flows from databases, APIs, files, and business applications
Optimize pipeline and query performance
Supervise and monitor pipelines
Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency
Implement data checks and validation processes
Document architectures and procedures
Participate in selecting and implementing a Business Intelligence tool
Lead workshops to gather and analyze business requirements
Define KPIs with business teams
Integrate and model data in the BI tool
Administer the BI platform and optimize the data model
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards
Collaborate with Quality, Data, business, and technical teams in an Agile environment
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality and the sharing of best practices
Monitor technology trends and actively propose improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher education degree in Computer Science or Data (Master’s level/Bac+5)
At least 3 years of experience in data management and architecture
Proficiency in Python, Java, and PowerShell
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle
Knowledge of ETL concepts
Proficiency in Power BI, BusinessObjects, and Qlik Sense
Knowledge of BigQuery and Snowflake
Proficiency in Git
Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
Self-motivated, meticulous, and possessing strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Docker platforms is a plus
Experience in data architecture modeling or information systems architecture (C1 to C4 models) would be highly valued
Use of AI tools in compliance with Ciril GROUP’s regulatory framework
