About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in functional analyses related to CMMS
- Ensure backlog quality according to the SMART methodology in collaboration with the Product Owner
- Monitor agile development cycles with the Development Manager
- Design, write, and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) tests
- Promote a Data-Driven Testing approach and optimize test pyramid coverage
- Maintain and formalize the testing knowledge base and quality best practices
- Perform acceptance testing for CMMS features
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools across test, staging, and production environments
- Containerize applications and oversee their orchestration
- Resolve deployment or integration issues with DevOps teams
- Improve delivery quality metrics
- Industrialize test environments
- Document DevOps processes according to the Diátaxis methodology
- Promote a DevOps and Quality culture through code reviews and workshops
- Participate in the internal Quality community and contribute to technology choices related to operations
- Analyze and present quality metrics to stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or training in computer science, software quality, or DevOps
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in test automation (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of testing strategies: test pyramid, TDD/BDD
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi
- Proficiency in containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Python, or TypeScript
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach in a DevOps environment
- Ability to work in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
- Ability to train teams in QA/DevOps best practices
- Technical curiosity
- Preferred certifications: ISTQB (Foundation/Advanced), Docker Certified Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent DevOps certifications
- Compliance with Ciril GROUP’s regulatory framework when using AI tools
