About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Commission and operate client servers
- Ensure systems remain in operational condition
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 customer support for hosted and on-premises environments running publisher applications
- Perform fully remote installations and migrations for clients
- Manage Oracle databases and client systems across approximately 800 hosted virtual servers
- Deliver managed IT services
- Write and maintain documentation
- Implement ISO 27001 processes as part of a continuous improvement approach
- Contribute to technical projects focused on infrastructure automation and optimization
- Join the SMI team, based in Villeurbanne, Lille, and Meylan, reporting to the manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or training in computer science or information technology
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Systems administration skills: Apache, NGINX, Centreon, Java, OAuth2, LDAP
- Knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of one or more database management systems (DBMS): Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Scripting skills: Python, Bash, YAML
- Experience with containerization and automated deployment is a plus
- Customer-focused with a collaborative mindset
- Use of AI tools in compliance with Ciril GROUP’s regulatory framework
