About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the SMI (Managed Services and IT Operations) team, based in Villeurbanne, Lille, and Meylan
- Commission and operate client servers
- Ensure the systems remain in operational condition (MCO)
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 client support for hosted and on-premises environments running software vendor applications
- Perform fully remote installations and migrations for clients
- Manage Oracle databases and client systems across 800 hosted virtual servers
- Provide managed IT services
- Write documentation and implement ISO 27001 processes as part of a continuous improvement approach
- Contribute to major technical projects focused on infrastructure automation and optimization
- Work under the supervision of the SMI team manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or other formal training in IT
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows
- Systems administration skills: Apache, NGINX, Centreon, Java, OAuth2, LDAP
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies: VMware
- Knowledge of one or more DBMSs: Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Scripting skills: Python, Bash, YAML
- Experience with containerization and automated deployment is a plus
- Customer-oriented, with a collaborative mindset
- Use AI tools in compliance with Ciril GROUP’s regulatory framework
