About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete the 24-month Applications Engineer Rotation Program
- Participate in two applications engineering rotations and one technical rotation
- Provide direct engineering support to Cirrus Logic customers and field personnel
- Develop reference designs and demonstration platforms
- Develop application notes, white papers, demo boards, and reference-design manuals
- Develop firmware and RTL modules for customer reference and demonstration
- Implement customer-application-focused data collection and circuit analysis
- Collaborate with IC Design Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Validation Engineers to define design requirements and customer use cases
- Autonomously manage tasks and priorities
- Help bring next-generation mixed-signal audio devices to market
- Ensure customers can integrate Cirrus Logic devices effectively into their end products
- Travel approximately two weeks per year domestically and abroad
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Mixed-signal hardware and audio-related backgrounds are strongly preferred
- Familiarity with scripting/programming languages such as Verilog, C, Python, MATLAB or similar
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, audio analyzers, logic analyzers or spectrum analyzers
- Candidates must be able to access technical data without requiring an export license
- Cirrus Logic is unable to sponsor or obtain export licenses for this role
