About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist engineers in creating reference designs and demo platforms, including conceptualization, part selection, schematic entry, layout coordination, and hardware validation
- Support customer integration through bench-level data collection and circuit evaluation
- Contribute to application notes, product data sheets, and reference manuals covering electrical characterization, theory of operation, and device application details
- Assist in developing firmware and RTL modules for evaluation platforms
- Write and execute Python and C scripts for automated data collection and analysis
- Join the Mixed Signal Products Applications Engineering team and contribute to projects for portable, professional, and consumer audio markets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit fundamentals
- Experience with C programming and scripting languages such as Python or Perl
- Familiarity with lab instruments, including oscilloscope and multimeter, and measurement techniques
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (preferred)
- Interest in audio systems and signal processing (preferred)
- Must be based within commutable distance of the Austin, Texas work location or willing to relocate before beginning the internship
- Must be able to access technical data without requiring an export license
- This role does not offer visa sponsorship
