Develop critical desktop software tools enabling graphical configuration and tuning of Cirrus Logic integrated circuits
Work with applications, systems, and firmware teams to define and build customer-facing tools
Participate in stand-ups, requirements gathering, estimation, and project planning
Decompose project requirements into actionable stories and tasks, including effort estimates
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, focusing on quality, scalability, and performance
Develop graphical configuration and tuning tools and command-line utilities for customers integrating Cirrus Logic products into devices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 6+ years of object-oriented software development experience supporting enterprise-level software
Expert-level proficiency in Java, C++, C#, or a similar statically typed programming language
Hands-on experience with development and testing of embedded systems
Demonstrated experience developing complex desktop or mobile applications
Strong understanding of multithreaded and multiprocess systems, including interprocess communication (IPC)
Familiarity with Python, Ruby or similar scripting languages
Curiosity about microcontrollers and digital signal processing
Ability to effectively collaborate with users, both internal and external
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
Candidates must be able to access technical data without requiring an export license
Preferred: Experience with JavaFX, Swing, XAML/.NET, Qt or similar high-level UI frameworks
Preferred: Experience with Gradle or Maven for build automation and dependency management
Preferred: Familiarity with serial communication protocols (I2C/SPI)
Preferred: Strong interest in audio and embedded systems
