About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supporting the development of IT platforms for maritime applications
Planning, implementing, operating, and maintaining virtualization and container solutions for development and test environments
Implementing and evaluating DevOps strategies and processes
Working closely with development teams and integrating DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle
Creating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds and deployments
Creating reusable templates, components, and modules in accordance with best practices
Contributing to the design of container-based customer and development platforms within the Application Software Platform team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
Experience in Platform or DevOps Engineering
Excellent C++ skills
At least 10 years of professional experience with C++
Familiarity with implementing and evaluating DevOps strategies and processes
Experience collaborating with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle
Experience creating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds and deployments
Excellent spoken and written German
Willingness to work in a hybrid model with 3 days per week on-site in Dresden
