About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement automated software tests
- Create and enhance test cases, test procedures, and test environments
- Configure and use Linux systems for hardware-based testing
- Administer and further develop CI/CD pipelines, such as GitLab CI
- Track tasks and features using Jira
- Maintain test documentation
- Work with innovative technologies and demanding, security-critical systems
- Collaborate with the project team and German-speaking customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Excellent knowledge of object-oriented software development using C, C++, and especially Python 3
- Solid experience in hardware-level test automation as well as testing and integration processes
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of clean code principles and PEP 8
- Basic knowledge of security is an advantage
- Analytical, structured, and team-oriented approach to work, along with an agile mindset
- Proficiency in Git and Jira
- Knowledge of Docker is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken German
- Willingness to work in Stuttgart under a hybrid model, with three days per week on-site
