About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process accounts payable payments and ensure proper coding
  • Review accounts payable schedules and ensure timely payments
  • Review commission schedules and ensure monies due are received timely
  • Assemble year-end tax packages
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact; respond to inquiries and escalate issues appropriately
  • Submit medical claims to third parties and monitor insurance renewals and claims
  • Manage home purchases, refinances, contracts, royalty audits, investments, and generational planning
  • Manage and mentor Assistant Account Manager
  • Process payroll using an outside payroll platform; identify, trace, and correct errors
  • Manage fraud alerts and credit score alerts
  • Review bank balances and request transfers as needed
  • Review annual 1099 filings and guild reports
  • Prepare monthly financials
  • Reconcile and analyze bank, credit card, investment, and other account activity while ensuring segregation of duties
  • Collaborate with Partners, Managing Directors, Directors, and administration on onboarding new entities in STAR and Dynamics
  • Assist with annual engagement letters, client scheduling, and monitoring client-work budgets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field, or 3-5 years of experience in the business management industry
  • CPP certification a plus
  • Prior knowledge of advance payroll, insurance and/or risk management
  • Technical skills focused on quality
