About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate and identify opportunities for new business
- Participate in practice development and networking
- Ensure responsiveness to client requests and sustain client relationships with Partners and Directors
- Serve as point person on asset acquisitions and dispositions, client loans, cooperative applications, and related matters
- Research and coordinate with other departments to mitigate risk and maximize tax planning
- Provide guidance on clients’ insurance plans
- Plan and manage workloads for all levels of Account Managers
- Facilitate client onboarding with support from the Director
- Provide guidance on year-end payroll, including bonus payrolls to officers from loan-out entities
- Develop working knowledge of retirement plans and gift and estate planning concepts
- Understand client organizations, structures, products, services, news, and changes
- Assist with client billing, collections, and profitability
- Prepare loan applications
- Prepare complex investment analysis reports and understand underlying asset classes
- Prepare budgets and regular analyses
- Provide year-end closing entries as needed
- Review General Ledger, Cash Flow, and Trial Balance regularly
- Track residual, profit participant, and fee income payments
- Anticipate and proactively address client concerns and escalating problems
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7–11 years of experience in the business management or family office industry; or 3–5 years of experience in business management or family office industry and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
- Active CPA, EA, CFP and/or PFS a plus
