About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity clients and corporate acquirers/sellers
  • Prepare Excel data packs
  • Analyze historical financial and operating results of target companies
  • Prepare financial models for mergers, acquisitions, and related transactions
  • Perform industry research for engagements
  • Assist with coordinating day-to-day planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up
  • Apply Transaction Advisory Services best practices to ensure consistent quality
  • Assist with preparing and redacting Excel data packs and written reports
  • Assist with preparing business development materials and support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.A./B.S./B.B.A./Master’s in finance, accounting, business, or applied economics
  • 0–2 years recent experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills
  • Strong time management, organizational, and reading comprehension skills
  • Financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills
  • Completed coursework in accounting, finance and/or economics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with team members
  • Exceptional work ethic
