About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process requests from Relationship Managers and Client Services Officers in appropriate systems
  • Process transactions within assigned signature-authority limits
  • Respond to Deposit and Loan requests and inquiries to support client retention and satisfaction
  • Proactively contact clients to provide superior service
  • Handle loan servicing requests, including advances, pay-downs, statements, billing issues, insurance, escrows, and flood insurance
  • Participate in onboarding new clients by opening and processing accounts, products, and services
  • Serve as the primary servicing contact and maintain thorough knowledge of client relationships
  • Issue and collect deposit account documents and disclosures
  • Coordinate with Electronic Banking, Treasury Management, and debit card services
  • Create and maintain households and set up analysis composites
  • Refer new check orders to the PCG Support Team
  • Make and input overdraft decisions within authorized limits
  • Collect missing signature cards and other deposit account documents
  • Satisfy BSA/RFI requests, pending loan ticklers, and applicable late payments
  • Upload account documentation to appropriate areas
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Relationship Manager
  • Complete Reg E disputes and resolve fraud, check disputes, check processing errors, and Aithent activities
  • Handle deposit account requests, including CIS maintenance, CIP corrections, account closures, address changes, signer changes, and deposit research
  • Resolve exception items from Deposit Operations
  • Compose letters, emails, and reports supporting Relationship Managers
  • Organize and maintain client files
  • Maintain product knowledge, identify needs, cross-sell bank products, and refer clients to lending or Treasury Management
  • Communicate with bank departments and Relationship Managers regarding client activities, issues, and opportunities
  • Participate in on-site client visits and relationship reviews
  • Ensure compliance with operational, regulatory, and security policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8-10 years of client service experience, preferably with experience leading a team in the financial services industry
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products
  • Demonstrated ability to handle more complex customer service needs
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing
  • Pleasant, friendly attitude and ability to adapt to change
  • Strong listening skills, attention to detail, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think creatively and be innovative
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Loan Originations Systems experience is a plus
  • Associate's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered
