About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Meet servicing needs of large Corporate, Real Estate, Business Banking, and Private Client Group clients through Depository, Loan, and Treasury Management services
- Address client service requests and inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Handle loan servicing requests, including advances, pay-downs, statements, billing issues, insurance, escrows, and flood insurance
- Manage onboarding of new clients by opening and processing accounts, products, and services
- Serve as primary client-servicing contact and maintain relationship knowledge
- Collect, review, and upload deposit account documents and disclosures
- Coordinate Electronic Banking and Treasury Management onboarding activities
- Complete customer profiles, CIP, Bizchex-Chexsystem, ownership information, account profiles, list checks, OFAC and Google searches
- Set up and maintain analysis composites and integrate account information for reporting
- Process domestic and international wire transfers, internal transfers, stop payments, cashier's checks, and debit cards
- Manage overdraft decisions or approvals within authorized limits
- Collect missing documents and satisfy BSA/RFI requests, including EDD/KYC, PO Alert, OFAC, and high-risk reviews
- Complete KYC/EDD updates and Regulatory Excellence Consultant findings requests
- Follow up on onboarding and maintenance activities, including funding, Treasury Management implementation, online banking setup, and KYC status
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Relationship Manager or Supervisor
- Complete Reg E disputes, fraud resolution, check disputes, check processing errors, and Aithent activities
- Process deposit-account maintenance, account closures, address changes, signer changes, and deposit research
- Resolve exception items from Deposit Operations and the Non-Post database
- Prepare client letters, emails, reports, Excel sheets, PowerPoint presentations, and organizational charts
- Organize and maintain deposit and loan client files
- Maintain product knowledge, assess client needs, cross-sell products, and refer opportunities
- Communicate with bank departments and Relationship Managers regarding client activities, issues, RFIs, compromised accounts, and opportunities
- Participate in on-site client visits and relationship reviews as needed
- Facilitate collection of loan-closing checklist items and support RM dashboard/pipeline management
- Collect, review, and upload loan-required covenants and ticklers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years of experience in client service, preferably within the financial services industry
- Ability to address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide comprehensive support in a financial services environment
- In-depth expertise in banking products and services, specializing in loan servicing, depository, and treasury management products
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Proficiency with loan/depository systems and banking software
- Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, including generating reports and analyzing data
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Advanced interpersonal skills, phone etiquette, and customer service capabilities
- Associate's Degree in Business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered
