About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support servicing needs of large Corporate, Real Estate, Business Banking, and Private Client Group clients through Depository, Loan, and Treasury Management services
  • Address client service requests and inquiries promptly and efficiently to support retention and satisfaction
  • Initiate client outreach while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Handle loan servicing requests, including advances, pay-downs, statements, billing issues, insurance, escrows, and flood insurance
  • Manage onboarding of new clients by opening and processing accounts, products, and services
  • Serve as the primary client-servicing contact and maintain comprehensive relationship knowledge
  • Issue, collect, review, and upload deposit account documents and disclosures
  • Coordinate with Electronic Banking and Treasury Management on onboarding, forms, implementation, and training
  • Complete customer profiles, CIP, Bizchex-Chexsystem, ownership information, account profiles, list checks, OFAC, and Google searches
  • Set up and maintain analysis composites and ensure client data is linked and balanced for analysis and reporting
  • Handle domestic and international wire transfers, internal transfers, stop payments, cashier's checks, and debit cards
  • Process overdraft decisions or obtain approvals within authorized limits
  • Collect missing documents and satisfy BSA/RFI requests, including EDD/KYC updates, PO alerts, OFAC, and high-risk reviews
  • Complete KYCs/EDDs and Regulatory Excellence Consultant findings within required timeframes
  • Follow up on onboarding and maintenance activities including account funding, Treasury Management implementation, online banking setup, and KYC status
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Relationship Manager or Supervisor
  • Complete Reg E disputes, resolve fraud and check disputes, and address check-processing errors in Aithent
  • Process deposit-account requests including CIS maintenance, CIP corrections, account closures, address changes, signer maintenance, and deposit research
  • Resolve exception items from Deposit Operations and the Non-Post database
  • Prepare client letters, emails, reports, Excel sheets, PowerPoint presentations, and organizational charts
  • Organize and maintain client deposit and loan files
  • Maintain product knowledge, attend training, assess client needs, and cross-sell bank products and services
  • Communicate with internal departments and Relationship Managers regarding client activities, issues, RFI status, compromised accounts, and opportunities
  • Participate in on-site client visits and relationship reviews as needed
  • Adhere to operational, regulatory, and security policies and procedures
  • Facilitate collection of loan-closing checklist items and support Relationship Manager dashboard and pipeline management
  • Create opportunities, complete KYC with Relationship Managers, coordinate payoffs/releases and fee waivers, and resolve past dues, maturing loans, minimum deposit requirements, and covenants
  • Collect, review, and upload loan-required ticklers and covenants

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in client service, with a preference for roles within the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide comprehensive support in a financial services environment
  • In-depth expertise in banking products and services, specializing in loan servicing, depository, and treasury management products
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure environment while ensuring client satisfaction through effective task management
  • Proficient in utilizing loan/depository systems and banking software for processing transactions, managing client accounts, and resolving system issues
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with advanced capabilities in generating reports, analyzing data, and communicating effectively through office applications
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex banking concepts clearly and professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Advanced interpersonal skills, phone etiquette, and customer service capabilities
  • Associate's Degree in Business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered
