About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide operational and client service support to assigned Relationship Managers and corporate banking client relationships
- Execute processes related to loan approval, loan closing, deposit accounts, client onboarding, servicing, and regulatory requirements
- Collect, organize, review, and process financial, credit, applicant, loan, and client documentation
- Monitor loan status from post-approval through disbursement and follow up on servicing requests, payment schedules, delinquent accounts, ticklers, maturities, covenants, and minimum deposit requirements
- Complete client onboarding, customer profiles, CIP, ownership information, list checks, OFAC checks, Google searches, KYC documentation, BSA and RFI requests, EDD and KYC updates, PO Alerts, and High-Risk Reviews
- Coordinate with Relationship Managers, loan closers, legal counsel, the Legal Department, internal departments, external partners, and clients
- Maintain loan application, approval, renewal, modification, closing, and servicing records
- Upload loan documentation into DocMan and complete customer information in Elevate
- Update Relationship Manager dashboards and pipelines; create opportunities and coordinate payoffs, releases, and fee-waiver submissions
- Confirm loans are properly booked, waivers are in place, proceeds are disbursed, and financial-statement ticklers are established
- Handle deposit-account requests, new account packages, account maintenance cases, deposit and loan research requests, and exception items
- Communicate status updates, respond to client inquiries, identify potential product needs, refer opportunities, and escalate unresolved or non-routine matters
- Maintain knowledge of banking products, lending processes, internal policies, and regulatory requirements through training
- Provide backup coverage through cross-training in loan-related activities or account opening
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-4 years of experience in corporate banking or financial services support role
- Working knowledge of banking products, loan and deposit processes, regulatory requirements, and credit standards
- Familiarity with loan and deposit systems and financial documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Effective communication, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to support Relationship Managers and coordinate routine to moderately complex loan closings, amendments, modifications, and servicing activities with internal and external Bank partners
- Ability to review documentation for completeness, follow established procedures, meet deadlines, and escalate complex or non-routine matters appropriately
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
