About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide full internal and external client support for issues and products under the Digital Channels department
  • Perform wire callback verification and work wire production and internal ticketing queues
  • Work ACH internal ticketing queues, process ACH files, work the ACH Non-Post application, and create/edit ACH originator profiles
  • Perform start-of-day and end-of-day balancing with the Federal Reserve, Core, and foreign exchange correspondent
  • Work online banking and bill pay enrollment queues
  • Work Digital Banking, ATM, MRDC, CityTel, EFT, and related internal ticketing queues
  • Ensure compliance with Regulation E, Visa, associated network rules, and bank policies for cardholder disputes
  • Conduct, research, reconcile, and review disputes; ensure accurate general ledger and write-off account entries
  • Oversee network and suspense general ledger accounts
  • Complete EFT, Online Banking, and department reports within established deadlines
  • Review new business debit cards and follow up on account documentation when applicable
  • Review compromised-card notifications and follow established procedures
  • Report system issues to vendors and escalate potential client-impact issues to management
  • Assist with testing and implementation of new products, system upgrades, and enhancements
  • Troubleshoot online banking, debit card, bill pay, MRDC, CityTel, and ATM issues
  • Research complex client/system issues and escalate unresolved issues
  • Troubleshoot debit-card rule denials and exempt card rules for authenticated transactions when requested
  • Identify efficiencies and recommend procedural enhancements
  • Complete department projects and assist management with weekly/monthly reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Online Banking/Electronic Banking, ACH, or related experience in the Financial Service Industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including diplomacy and tact
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to sustain high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate on-going projects/tasks and to function efficiently in a high volume, fast paced deadline oriented environment
  • High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
