About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support clients in the Bank's Personal & Business Banking area
  • Service and enhance existing International Personal Banking client relationships and develop new personal and business client relationships
  • Complete regulatory documentation of a highly responsible and confidential nature
  • Participate in onboarding new clients by opening and processing accounts, products, and services
  • Serve as the primary servicing point of contact for clients
  • Ensure regulatory excellence, including resolving documentation, KYC, CIP, Reg E, fraud, overdraft, and wire-related matters
  • Process stop payments, internal transfers, domestic and international wire transfers, account openings and closings, CIS maintenance changes, loan advances, and paydowns
  • Handle exception items from Deposit Operations and Electronic Banking
  • Respond to client requests and inquiries regarding deposits, loans, accounts, billing, insurance, escrows, and flood insurance
  • Ensure compliance with operational and security policies and procedures
  • Make account-related decisions, including processing overdrafts within assigned limits
  • Provide written responses to BSA compliance inquiries
  • Correspond independently with clients and maintain confidential client files
  • Maintain strong product and system knowledge
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer them to the assigned Relationship Manager
  • Communicate with internal departments and contact account officers and clients as needed
  • Prepare special reports, analyze trends, present findings to management, and make recommendations
  • Participate in client meetings as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-4 years teller experience or client service experience, preferably in the financial service industry - required
  • Prior knowledge of procedures and policies related to bank teller functions
  • Working knowledge of an online computer system or teller terminal
  • Strong sales experience background
  • Proven abilities in needs-based sales and high-level client servicing
  • Ability to prepare or interpret detailed written materials and perform detailed mathematical functions accurately
  • Ability to handle complex transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Security consciousness, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Understanding of compliance with Federal and State laws governing teller areas
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales goals and maintain a high level of client service
  • May need to work extended hours, including weekends
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
