About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to manage and expand the Corporate Banking portfolio
- Cultivate and retain long-term client relationships
- Identify market opportunities, monitor industry trends, and support new business development
- Support bank and corporate banking clients and resolve service requests and technical problems
- Conduct financial analysis for Relationship Managers
- Manage loan servicing requests, including payments, paydowns, invoices, statements, insurance, escrows, and flood insurance
- Collect, prepare, and process loan applications; support deal structuring, development, and maintenance
- Collect and review documents for new loan applications, renewals, and modifications
- Upload required loan documents into DocMan
- Verify applicant income, employment history, and creditworthiness
- Complete customer profiles, CIP, and ownership information in Elevate
- Perform list checks, OFAC and Google searches, and submit KYCs for review and approval
- Coordinate with legal, loan closers, counsel, and internal departments through approval and closing
- Maintain loan application and approval records
- Collect closing documentation and manage RM dashboard and pipeline
- Coordinate payoffs, releases, and fee-waiver submissions
- Follow up on loan booking, waivers, disbursements, and financial-statement ticklers
- Monitor loan portfolios, payment schedules, delinquent accounts, maturities, covenants, and minimum deposit requirements
- Adhere to lending regulations and internal policies
- Complete BSA/RFI, EDD/KYC, OFAC, high-risk review, and REC findings requests
- Manage onboarding and maintenance follow-up activities
- Complete Reg E disputes and other Loan/Risk Department items
- Process deposit-account requests, new account packages, maintenance cases, and deposit/loan research
- Resolve exception items from Deposit Operations and Non-Post databases
- Maintain product knowledge and complete assigned training
- Identify needs, cross-sell bank products and services, and refer opportunities to other departments
- Communicate loan application status, issues, renewals, past-due accounts, and opportunities to Relationship Managers
- Participate in on-site client visits and relationship reviews
- Cross-train across loan and account-opening specialties
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7 years of experience in corporate banking or financial services support role
- Proven track record of providing high-level support to Relationship Managers
- Experience actively managing loan closing/amendment/modification processes with internal and external Bank partners
- In-depth understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements
- Strong financial analysis skills and familiarity with credit standards
- Proficiency in loan/depository systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet or exceed established goals
- Good time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
