About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of platform domains, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud foundations
Architect and implement cloud landing zones, network topologies, and identity frameworks
Define and enforce infrastructure-as-code standards and module design patterns
Lead production incident response for P0/P1 platform incidents
Drive post-incident reviews with actionable remediation
Drive automation initiatives that reduce toil for platform engineers and product teams
Mentor and provide technical code review for L1 and L2 engineers
Partner with SRE on reliability reviews for new platform components
Contribute to platform roadmap planning by identifying opportunities and risks
Evaluate and recommend new tools, services, and frameworks

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–8 years of engineering experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or cloud operations, with a track record of owning production systems end-to-end
Expert-level Terraform: module authoring, state management, remote backends, and governance
Production Kubernetes expertise: cluster lifecycle, networking (CNI), storage, security policies, and multi-tenancy
Strong multi-cloud experience; AWS and Azure preferred
Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling development
Experience designing CI/CD architectures for large engineering organizations
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and outcomes
