About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support management of multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Process or record accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll transactions.
  • Prepare account reconciliations for prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals.
  • Prepare, understand, and review basic to moderate financial statements.
  • Support preparation of general ledger, cashflow, and allocations.
  • Build process backup at the direction of leadership when needed.
  • Aid in preparing sales tax returns and Form 1099s.
  • Prepare audit workpapers, tax return workpapers, and other requested client materials.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to support multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll transactions.
  • Ability to prepare account reconciliations and basic to moderate financial statements.
  • Ability to support general ledger, cashflow, and allocations.
  • Ability to assist with sales tax returns, Form 1099s, audit workpapers, and tax return workpapers.
