About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a high-level interim or project-based accounting resource for clients in various industries
  • Support accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles, including Interim Controller, Financial Reporting Manager, and Internal Audit Manager
  • Design and improve accounting processes, including monthly close, management and financial reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations
  • Take an active, hands-on approach in executing client engagements
  • Travel for client opportunities
  • Select engagements based on career and life preferences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8 years relevant work experience including public accounting (10+ years preferred)
  • Prior industry experience as a CFO, Controller, SEC Reporting or Internal Audit Manager equivalent preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree is required; combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred
  • Mastery in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in a variety of accounting software
  • CPA certification preferred but not required
  • Prior project management experience preferred
  • Exceptional client service management experience preferred
