About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a high-level interim or project-based accounting resource for clients in various industries
Support accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles such as Interim Controller, Financial Reporting Manager, and Internal Audit Manager
Design and improve accounting processes, including monthly close, management and financial reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations
Take a hands-on approach in executing client engagements
Travel for client engagements as needed
Select engagements to support career and life balance

Requirements

What you’ll need

8 years relevant work experience including public accounting (10+ years preferred)
Prior industry experience as a CFO, Controller, SEC Reporting or Internal Audit Manager equivalent preferred
Bachelor's degree required; combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
Degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred
Mastery in Microsoft Excel
Experience with a variety of accounting software
CPA certification preferred but not required
Prior project management experience preferred
Exceptional client service management experience preferred
