About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage relationships with existing clients and grow business through development activities
  • Identify and develop opportunities through centers of influence, referrals, and associations
  • Assume full responsibility for all services for clients in a book of business
  • Review and sign engagement letters, discuss assignment terms, and approve fees
  • Review and approve staff-prepared work papers
  • Review engagement progress and ensure all phases are properly executed
  • Review time budgets and deadlines and attend final client meetings
  • Communicate engagement status, client challenges, findings, and recommendations to managers and staff
  • Assist clients in obtaining necessary funding
  • Help clients meet audit and financial planning objectives using a range of tools
  • Bring seamless capability opportunities to clients and existing relationships
  • Develop, mentor, and oversee client engagement teams
  • Lead engagement progress by monitoring time budgets and deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation and audits
  • CPA license is required
