About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and oversee audit and assurance engagements for manufacturing clients through all engagement phases
  • Drive engagement strategy, including planning, staffing, budgeting, and execution
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and key decision-maker for client engagements
  • Communicate progress, recommendations, and significant developments to Engagement Principals and client leadership
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
  • Cultivate client relationships and discuss engagement objectives, scope, timelines, and fees
  • Review and enhance audit programs and internal control evaluations
  • Provide technical oversight and ensure quality and compliance
  • Monitor engagement performance, budgets, and deadlines
  • Identify process improvements and deliver insights and value to clients
  • Facilitate client meetings and present findings, recommendations, and strategic insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm
  • Strategic management experience
  • CPA license certification required
  • Ability to lead a team of high-performing people
  • Problem-solving ability and confidence bringing solutions to clients
  • Ability to work with clients to help their businesses succeed strategically
