About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop understanding of each client’s business and organizational operations
  • Coordinate and process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll transactions
  • Coordinate and review account reconciliations, including prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals, investments, debt, and industry-specific accounts
  • Prepare, understand, and review basic to complex financial statements
  • Review general ledger, cash flow, and allocations
  • Create process and procedure documentation and build backup
  • Complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s, audit workpapers, tax return workpapers, and other client-requested items
  • Oversee and supervise Associates’ and Analysts’ workflow and work quality
  • Assist with internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Experience supporting the Real Estate Industry
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, software, and charts of accounts
  • Ability to oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts
