About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process utility property and damage claims according to CMR's established guidelines and procedures
- Verify that data is accurate and complete
- Analyze and research information to determine the correct party being billed
- Record claim information through data entry into CMR's customized software applications
- Respond to client and potential responsible party requests for information via email and telephone
- Communicate with co-workers, management, and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Accurate data review and data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and processing skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize work
- Organized, thorough and detail-oriented
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish an appropriate work environment within your own home, including a high-speed internet connection
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Adjuster experience and licensing strongly preferred
- 2 years of clerical experience preferred
- Pre-employment drug screening and criminal background checks are mandatory
