About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides access to career tracks within construction management, including field management, project management, preconstruction services, virtual design and construction coordination, and safety
- Follow and assist with development procedures for controlling contract documents
- Assist with project setup in the project management system
- Assist with the permitting process
- Assist in developing the site utilization plan
- Assist with loss prevention, sustainability action plan and quality control program reviews and coordination
- Review and process submittal data and shop drawings
- Prepare and maintain RFI, RFP, IRN, submittal and document-control logs
- Serve as onsite quality manager for assigned trades and verify subcontractor deliveries
- Attend project meetings and assist with progress reports and meeting minutes
- Assist with change-document distribution, pricing collection and change proposal requirements
- Update as-built drawings and coordinate clarifications, changes, directives and RFIs
- Perform quantity take-offs and assist with project estimating
- Assist with constructability reviews and construction-document development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2-year Associates Degree
- Preferred 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- 0-3 years progressive industry experience
- Proficiency in packaged construction management and scheduling software
- Proficiency in Bluebeam
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to find solutions to various issues, prioritize work and meet deadlines
