Key responsibilities & impact

Embed with process owners in finance, credit and portfolio risk, servicing, collections, and operations
Map workflows, scope problems, and agree on success criteria and baselines
Own delivery end to end, from discovery and technical scoping through system design, build, production rollout, and adoption
Simplify processes and select dependable scheduled jobs, triggered jobs, or bounded agents
Write evaluations to validate shipped outputs and re-check them as models, data, and processes change
Instrument systems and processes with thresholds, exception inventories, alerting, action paths, and named owners
Build external-facing AI solutions for merchants and partners with Product and Engineering
Codify reusable patterns, evaluations, and agent-harness standards
Apply AI controls governing evaluation, exposure, human review, unattended automation, and logging
Measure impact, effort saved, control quality, and reuse; report business impact to executives
Promote ClarityPay values of trust and integrity

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–5 years of software engineering or technical deployment experience working directly with business users
Production experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, agent or skill development, and evaluation
Strong Python and SQL skills
Experience writing and reviewing production code
Experience using AI-assisted development
Data fluency in a lakehouse environment such as Databricks or ClickHouse
Ability to build reliable data pipelines and identify incorrect outputs
High agency and comfort with ambiguity
Strong discovery and communication skills
Ability to explain trade-offs to non-technical audiences
Ability to work across time zones with engineering colleagues in India
Judgment about what should not be automated
Fintech, lending, payments, banking, or regulated-environment experience is nice to have
Experience building MCP servers, sub-agents, or agent skills is nice to have
MLOps or experimentation experience is nice to have
Prior forward-deployed, professional services, or founding-engineer experience is nice to have
